Live with Martha Stewart...

This evening, Martha Stewart hosted a live interactive chat on her website and I was fortunate enough to paricipate before they ran out of bandwidth. Although none of my submitted questions were answered (she received over 5000!), it was neat to read her candid responses to other questions posed to her. There is apparently an Everyday Food book in the works and the photographs are currently being shot for it.

Safari Birthday Party Invites

A few weeks ago I threw a Safari themed birthday party for my son, complete with a reptile animal show. Here is a sample of the invites I made.

St. Patrick's Day 2004

For my son's class party last year, I made little 'pots' of gold for all of his classmates by taking small paper mache boxes, painting them white and green, then adding green glitter to the tops. Inside, I used green plastic shreds and added a couple gold foil wrapped candies. For friends, I made leprechaun cards embellished with glitter.

Valentine's Day Bags 2004

Last year, my son's second grade class had a Valentine's Day party so we put together goody bags for all of his classmates in coordinating red and hot pink gift bags filled with red and pink Valentine's Day themed trinkets and candy.
