Snowman Cookies

I'm a bit behind in posting pictures due to a camera issue, but all is well now. Here is a photo of the snowmen sugar cookies I made for my son's class party back in December. A simple sugar cookie recipe and then decorated with icing and round candies.

Spring Cleaning Around Here

With the weather warming up, I've been bit with a case of the Spring cleaning bug. The main portion of the garage is 90% complete and the kids' room is almost finished. I just have to say that I love THIS vacuum. Holy Moley! I've been using it for about a week now and can't believe what it's been pulling out of the carpeting. After all the research I did on which one to get, I'm pleased to have decided on this one. Although I am emptying the container more often that I'd like, I chalk it up to all the extra work it does at pulling the ick from the carpeting. It's not really that noisy compared to my previous vacuum and the weight is comparable as well.

New Blogger

Well, I bit the bullet and went ahead and upgraded to the new Blogger. I like the ability to add tags to my posts... but that's about it. For all of you using Bloglines to read this blog, sorry for all the updated posts showing up. I've been going through and adding tags to some of the entries.

In other news, I've been feverishly working on setting up an actual craft/art room/studio here in the house. The room still has several Rubbermaid containers I need to sort through, but each box is another inch closer to finishing it. The kids and kitties are in there as much as I am now, which is way cool.
