Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

A few years ago, on a whim I whipped up a batch of Peanut Butter Cookies from scratch for a New Year's Eve party. The cookies were a hit and I've wanted to make them again, but the recipe seemed to have vanished that night and hasn't been seen since. I've attempted to make more using other recipes, but they just weren't quite the same. The only thing I remember about this particular recipe is that it only used 3, maybe 4 ingredients... with one of them obviously being peanut butter. Does anyone out there happen to have a tried and true recipe for peanut butter cookies that only asks for a few ingredients? If so, care to share it?

Here's one from the Rycraft booklet that comes with cookie stamps. Only four ingredients:

1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 egg

Mix well. Form 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased sheet at 325 for 10-12 mn.

I've made them. I'd make them again.

Thank you so much for posting that recipe! I will give it a try. It looks like it could be the one I've been looking for!
